Manga really did this arc better than the anime. Also loving the colored 2 page spreads by @Gondou_104 on recent chapters as they add that very nice cherry on top.

Plus no magically disappearing and reappearing checkerboard cookie couch pillows. (and yes this is one of my gripes with the anime adaptation LOL since the couch at Amane's place is a recurring spot where quite a few events in the story happen at)

Fuck that old lady. The only good thing to come from that woman was her daughter.
The amount of pain Mahiru went through was honestly way more than enough for a more than reasonable crashout.
It really shows how strong Mahiru's will and personality really is.

What's sad that there's alot more Single moms that are like this then "IMMA BE BACK IMMA GET THE MILK" Type dads. Its a shame no one around the world shames these women foe shit loke this that's why im happy i was blessed to have a wonderful mother💯.
