Not necessarily the right place to bring this up, but it is something that keep nagging me in many of these stories. Looking at the pages where they are chatting about school and they are sat in front of their food and not eating it.... It drives me nuts. I never want to burn my mouth, but I like to eat my food before it gets cooler. However, after reading countless stories, there appears to be a very relaxed attitude to hot food... People making breakfast and serving it while the other person is still in bed, or prepping dinner, and giving the person the option to go and get a bath first... It all strikes me as alien. Are the Japanese really that ok with eating tepid or cold cooked food? I mean cold omelette in a bento makes me feel queasy!!!
