While the official announcement for the manga spin-off said that it would adapt LN Vol. 5.5 and the special edition booklet, the first several chapters so far seem to only be from the booklet, so it's possible that they will either:
1. Alternate between adapting the short stories in the booklet and the side stories in the volume, or
2. Adapt all of the booklet and then the volume.

Further note: Volume 5.5 of the Light Novel (+the special booklet) depict moments from Vol. 1 to 4 of the LN, and as of right now, the main manga adaptation has just started adapting Vol. 2 of the LN. Therefore, it is possible that in the near future, the spin-off will be ahead of the main manga series in terms of story and its viewers may be subject to spoilers unless they have read the Light Novel.

I think season 2 of the anime will release sometime during 2026. By that time, the light novel will already have more than enough content for season 3

Rarely, this is mostly used by mangakas due to the troupe. Many things that mangakas write are outdated EVEN if they are in their early 20's. That's actually what's funny, they themselves mostly own dirty mags for reference not for use.

But damn i'm surprised, i was expecting over the top stupid comedy but surprisingly it just increased the the comedy little bit to boot it also increased the romance since they removed all of the supports form the story.
So basically it just became a story about them both without any meddling from supports.

This manga is just adapting the short stories from the light novel. They're cute bonuses meant to supplement the volume they released with. Some of the short stories do feature other characters, especially later in the light novel (vol. 6+), but after the rain won't adapt that far
