Truck- San strikes again. Who is Truck San? Why, the most world renowned plot premise in manga, webtoons, manhwa, dramas etc. You name it, he did it. He has had so many bone crushing hits and near misses that has brought us so many story lines: couples getting together; male lead saving their prospective love partner by swooping them into their arms; creating the perfect scene, that drives the rescued individual to forget whatever horrible deed the rescuer has done, or if it's a complete stranger cause them to 'fall in love at first sight.' Truck San is cupid in all his weighted tons of metallic glory. He has also been featured in many tragic and drama filled scenes that rips families, friends, strangers apart and cause seemingly irreparable damage to characters' mental state. We must never forget to mention all those memorable and classic amnesia plots. When you see a suspenseful plot or a loving scene of someone crossing that seemingly safe but actually a treacherous death trap called a road, we know who to expect. Oh Truck San what would we be without you.

Thanks for the translation @211ritsuki Some authors might be amicable enough to allow their work to be translated. I guess it all depends on the deals with the publishers too.

Personally speaking I wouldn't mind just pasting the translation over the (more or less) scratched out text. Also, having a bunch of Japanese Fx makes it more authentic to me. 😊

Hey, thanks for reading them too
I'm not very brave to ask them, so I just went ahead and did/do it. A little dangerous, but I'll think later. Hopefully it's totally fine.
This chapter is my first try translating manga, so there'll probably a lot of bad stuff.
But in case of the chapters I'm working on, I'm planning to replace all of the SFX, because I also consider translating, cleaning, redrawing, and typesetting as an experience to hone my skills.
I'm thinking of leaving out the SFX if I'm going to translate another manga though, as it's really a pain in the arse to clean and redraw stuff from my own imagination.

Ah thanks for responding! 🙋
The best kind of TN I enjoy are the ones where they left the original SFX behind but added the translation (in much smaller fonts) right next to them. This is really effective when the SFX are the star of the show; taking up a significant portion of the panels. If I didn't know better, I would think they're made to be bilingual from the start. 😊
