I was going to say he tried too hard, but the random appearance of a sketchy guy makes me wonder if something bad will happen next chapter. Part of me is saying yes, part of me is saying no. I promise that I will drop this if it does turn into that. I'm getting sick of reading fun manga that turns to dump out of nowhere. The intro to this chapter was extremely out of context too, considering there was no clear explanation (if any) of why it was shown in the first place.

People here thought that it's from an anime (tone shift) but I've got a different opinion. What if it isn't from an anime, but a live-action series?
That would also explain why it's so "corny" for an action sequence and his appearance in the end: he's an actor.

He's not from TV/movie or anything the characters watch, it's his job--but don't worry, this is not an action manga or will change direction to one,
his identity will be revealed later (still quite a while). The sure thing is he's not a bad person.
