@suchtla Seems that's what he's implying. Which sounds strange to me too, since the other women met and know the first wife (can't remember the names atm) so they know what kind of household the second one married into.

@suchtla - I think it was the implication of involving a "tutor" which implies money which implies use of money for charity... or raising one's profile in the community. Basically, mean-spirited people in the community would freely interpret that the new second wife is either using her husband's money because she seduced him, or she was attempting to use her new prestige at the cost of the first wife's. A very in-tune, thoughtful husband and resourceful wives.
