This was such a sweet chapter.

I love how it ended, I really hope we’ll one day get to see them both travel to England together! 🥰

This manga always manages to fill me with bittersweet emotions.
@lexy I agree, the old man tearing up at the photo and Talas' smile were beautiful moments <3

Why are some manga being shown with the Korean flag?
In any case, thanks Continuity Carl!

My soul has been revitalized. I suddenly remember an old part of myself in Mr. Smith - that passion and curiosity, which slowly been forgotten or have faded due to the naivety, foolishness and immaturity while trying to face the trials in life. How sweet and wonderful the potrayal of these people's culture that it can help us remember what is and how to be a decent human being. I am repainted!

@kanzakill not too sure if I can post here but just in case:

Short story is that they updated a flag or something so the flags got dragged by one, and all japanese manga have korean flag, korean's have another flag, and so on. you have to go to the main page and press either ctrl+f5 or what works for your browser, and it should update to current settings. For more info there are forums about bugs and most posts are lately about this issue. I already updated on mine and everything seems ok (but not on mobile yet...have to figure that one out lol).

Hoped that helped, and yes, this is the short story hehe

This chapter and the mention of England made me hope there'd be cameos from Emma Victorian Romance(author's earlier work) toward the end of this series, but checking some earlier chapters had my hopes dashed.

Crimean War went on 1853-1856 and by this time in the story hostilities are only just starting to brew up. That places this story somewhat square in the middle of the 19th century, sometime around 1850. Also, that would corroborate the appearance of Smith's friend in Ankara, Mr Hawkins, if he's based on the real historical figure of architect Major Rohde Hawkins who was studying in Ankara at that point in time.
Emma, on the hand, take place at the very end of the century so there'd be major time-gap between the stories and characters. If this was the author's older work it might have worked, but as it is I doubt we'll see any cameos in this...

@Chizan Actually there is another theory around (which I'm inclined to believe) that it may be set in the 1870s
so your hopes still have some space to grow, rejoice.
