Skadi is the jotunn goddess of bowhunting, skiing, winter and mountains. She married Njörðr, who had "the prettiest legs in all of Asgard" (paraphrasing the comic Valhalla here). Njörðr is a vanir and father of Freya, and is associated with the sea, seafaring, wind, fishing, wealth, and crop fertility. The two stopped living together because Skaði couldn't live by the sea, and Njörðr couldn't live away from it.
Ironically, in Heimskringla, Skaði is said to have split up with Njörðr and then married Odin, siring many children with him.
