Only two chapters left? Good. I like a good reverse-trap but this story went downhill very fast. The period after the initial assault should have been about building their relationship, not running it into the grand canyon. It's really a shame this didn't turn out better.

If you want a better good story about a "princely girlfriend," I'd happily recommend Kakkoii Onnanoko to 12-centi no Yakusoku. It's at least twice as long and doesn't melt into toxic relationship sludge.
i actually really liked that this evolved into a toxic relationship lol, made things really interesting

I went back to the beginning and reread this really don’t know why he’s dating her.

She insults him all the time, and in ways that exclusively target the things he feels most insecure about. Really hurtful treatment throughout. She’s very dismissive of his feelings, manipulative, and clearly revels in their dominant position in their relationship.

She asked him if he’s afraid of her and I think it’s obvious that he is, especially now.

So what is he getting out of this? It’s sad to say, but it’s probably not much more than the illusion of ‘protection’, but it’s more like he’s a possession than a cherished partner.

at least she recognized the thought was horrible and backed off, and while she did act on a terrible impulse she did respect him saying no. not good behavior; however, she made some attempt at respect. in context of her bfs trauma, this is a major backwards step that cannot and should not be ignored. cool development storywise
Yeah, its kind of gripping, but don't try this at home kids!

Wait.
This manga is perfect. It showed red flags from the start, but we stuck with it.
Just like them.

It's art beca- no, the artist is just into drawing upsetting shit.

There are a couple segments of the bonus chapter that rivals the bonus materials for Ikemen joshi to josou danshi.
...i am not ashamed of my interests.

Wait two chapter left? Where you get the info? And thank you for the recommendation

Things got worse and we're on the endgame.
It just runs out. There are sequels out there, but its all weird porn. Varying levels of "could you just not?"

When your self esteem is low, your standards drop.
My marriage was mutually abusive.
Neither of us should ever date again.
Too many ingrained personality flaws.

I blow up and can say hurtful things. She is controlling and gaslight me a bunch. Gaslit me into staying for years.

We both have self esteem issues

She was like 80% correct about him.
Overall this story is only interesting when they're being toxic. As goes for most romances.

the fuck? if I play with gasoline and burn down my house who's fault is it exactly?
While I think miniongodking's just jumped to wild conclusions, your take is absolutely bad too.

In the context of this story (and consent in general) the right analogy would be that you have a gasoline can and it decides by itself to dive in a fire and blow up to harm you.
It might seem weird but people have this thing called free will, and a second person deciding to harm aka assualt you out of their own free will is wrong, and should not be justified.

but it is always your responsibility to anticipate and keep yourself from harm. free will means no one is in charge of you but you and for first priority is you.

That logic simply boils down to isolating yourself to a nuclear fallout bunker for your entire life, to ensure no harm ever reaches you; or the stereotypical sci-fi rogue AI logic to keep the world safe from war we must kill all humans.

I am not sure if my explanation was not apt enough or if you are just refusing to even understand, but at the end of the day - it is simply not possible to anticipate everything.

Imagine it is nightime your car has a problem, you decide to pull over and are making calls to get some help, and then out of nowhere comes a drunk driver and rams into you. Surely you could have anticipated a car would breakdown right, drunk drivers are a given too, right? Definitely not the drunk driver's fault, it is your fault that you didn't anticipate everything and decided to drive, you shouldn't be driving - absolutely your fault.

I don't really know if can explain this some better way. Hope this can make you see where your point is flawed. Have a good one.

it's not possible to anticipate everything, but it's also not smart to swim with sharks while covered in blood and thrashing about. you have control over your actions and how much risk you wanna take is up to you, but people can think you're dumb for doing it. personal responsibility is a thing no matter how much people try to nuh-uh it.

This isn't a correct comparison.
I tried man, I'm not suitable enough to carry on this discussion.

it's wasn't really a discussion in the first place. stating the fact "people are responsible for their own well being" should not be controversial, but either way, have a good day.
