The irony is that these same people will whine and beg for translations, literally choosing beggars. It's not exclusive to this site either, it's basically all of them. The worse is when these people try to justify their pirating with some kind of moral high ground instead of just owning up to it. Some of them are so delusional that I saw someone trying to justify pirating by saying that the author "made enough money" so it was okay to pirate their work and there were plenty of others that agreed.

i see... the paneling and text afterward(though maybe it was translated awkwardly) made it seem like she was the one who did it, but now i see Aegir was behind the opponent. It still isn't really clear to me, but Aegir cutting him down makes more sense at least.

No worries, it is not really clear in the manga. I only know that since I am reading the novel at the same time I'm reading this, so it is all still fresh in my head.
