Someone finally used the right noble title. “Margrave.” I’ve always seen it translated directly as “Frontier Count” or “Front Count” when there’s already an English title for a count with a large army strategically positioned at a country’s border.

I'm not only curious to see how the rebels will react to being used as bait, but I'd also like to know how Aegir's infantry felt by being in the same position. I know that in total they outnumber the city's defenders by more than 3:1, but that doesn't mean that there weren't heavy losses from the arrows, the rout, and with the actual battle that the manga skipped by focusing on the MC inside the walls. While trying to assail the walls would have resulted in a lot more casualties, we did see a lot of losses inherent in this trap.
