Anyway, happy holidays, everyone! (Yup, I released this one a day earlier so I could say that.)

I really like Koreyoshi. He's such a complex character. So I'm a little sad he's never been featured in a volume cover art. Well, the manga's ongoing, so we might see it one day.

This is the last chapter I'm going to upload this year, so we'll start 2026 with Michizane's rebellious phase. Until then!

Always a great translation, and thanks for the stories about Empress Akirakeiko as well. It's fascinating how this entire series so far has had so many people freaking out about demon attacks, possession, and the use of rituals used to dispel demons, only to have it laid out here that the only demons are humans (though who is a 'demon' is based on perspective). Looking forward to the next chapter in 2026!
