wth is with these characters? None of them are good. It's shocking how uncompelling the writer made them. The way they are selfishly minmaxing is killing their characters and the narrative. How are we supposed to care about the progress of players stepping over the game narrative and other players to get what they want? In the first place, the stakes are at rock bottom. Who cares if they achieve a high rank or not in a video game? A character that is selfishly looking out for their own survival is much more compelling.
