Or the Author can have a crazy moment and change his MC, but...
This kind of MC (Who think of themselves 1st, who don't try to learn and train before trying crazy things, and only think of using other) rarely change.... (Example: The Moonlight Sculptor)

I really like the story, but the MC acting bore me really bad...

He actually does change quite a lot (unlike Moonlight Sculptor), to the point where he's basically unrecognizable as a character compared to the beginning. Though him becoming more tolerable is still a couple arcs away.
