When I say generally, I mean more in total.
I'm not sure how you can make classes in the thousands when currently it feels stretching to place them in the hundreds.

Especially considering that this game has a specific setting and theme to it, that being generic fantasy.
There's only so much you can do before you have 50 classes that all do the same thing but with different flavour text.

@ChrunchBoi I know I'm being optimistic here when I am saying this but we don't know what the future holds for us in terms of scientific innovation. I totally get your point- and as a novel reader I'll let u in a small ...well spoiler... that the author himself doesn't gives a lotta shit about classes later onwards given that he states that this game has thousands of classes. This statement was used to set the fantasy world and that's all we ever heard from it later.

But the point I want to prove is that the game is made by a non human entity(a machine to be precise). You'll know about it when u read further. Theres no telling when a thing which would make this possible will ever come...and well it's fiction to begin with... So let's just let it stay there yeah? Apologies if I offended you by any means :')

The fact that it's machine made, on top of the extreme amount of class, makes me feel like most classes are poorly thought out trash, extremely similar to other classes, and/or poorly thought out overpowered.

But again, just me reading into something the author either never thought or wanted me to think about.

Why is he a psychopath? He seems to be the only one who realizes that this is a game. It's not real. Although it may be a perfect VR, it is still virtual. If you are wise enough it is just cartoon violence. The real psychopaths are the ones who can't distinguish and bring shit to the real world. He knows the dead player will respawn. He's not drenching himself in their blood and dancing.

@OwO-sama What do you mean machine made, you're misunderstanding something, Morpheus is but a super AI computer that monitors/regulates the game in real time and is like a 24/7 Game Master overlooking every player's movement and achievements and setting paths for them approprietly according to them, we often see him reporting calculations and what turn of events might come from Grid's or someone's else actions or what are the chances this or that will succeed to Lim Cheolho, lead and CEO of S.A. Group which is the ones that created Satisfy and the one who created him, Morpheus is reporting everything to him and the developer team, but no matter what happens, the game developers will never interfere in the story the players create, they gave them a world and they are basically telling them (the players) "Shape this world with your actions and choices, but also live with what comes from them and their consequences"

@ChrunchBoi No, it's not machine made, idk what that person is on about, you can read above, also there are no meaningless classes in the game, we have seen many different classes so far in the novel and the author always make them shine splendidly, of course every class has their pros and cons which the author never leaves out as well, but he mostly gives justice to most if not all of them, no class loses to another, and because it's a fantasy novel, every class seems to be perfectly balanced (mostly)

@ViciousSoul apologies and thanks for pointing out my earlier mistake. Its been some time since I last touched the webnovel and I mostly binged it and thus I wasn't able to remember some details.
