I get it. It's literally a video game. I know. But you have a number above someone's head, and then it's so obviously combat power? It looks kind of...bad.
Plus the fact that Grid is so sure of his own interpretation of it. Obviously bigger number above her head means she'll win. I'll take that as assurance. Like...it's like he's not trying to think about it. Just take the easy path.

To be fair, he isn't just a regular cleric.
He is the spiritual leader of an entire church.
But in the grand scheme of things the pope himself isn't all that powerful.
There are way stronger people out there, and he is ultimately a support class that is fighting a frontline fighter.

She can, but the problem is that she can only do so if he breaks the rules.
And the pope knows that better than anybody, not to mention his status as a pope also makes him semi-immune to the laws themselves.
Kinda like how you can´t accuse a president of the USA of any crime whatsoever as they effectively have the ability to pardon themselves from any crime.
Trump for example made great use of this by pardoning a lot of people before he was thrown out of office.

@ comeonnow0 it's actually pretty common to assign power levels to characters in games that have pvp matchmaking due to rng gear drops. So based on equipment and level they'll get a number and people with similar numbers will get matched, but the number doesn't really say anything about how good the gear actually is or how well a build works, it's simply an estimation.
