i never did get why they think that if Ainz become king, many more would die.
it's true that nazarick fought back only because they took action first. and it's clear that Ainz's side have no casualties, so if they come under ainz, at least they won't die i think.

If anyone doesn't get it: Momon was played by Pandora's Actor here. That's why Albedo reacted so annoyed and forgot her role for a moment when he told her no one would ever marry a woman like her. She often loses her cool around him (because she's jealous that he's the creation of her beloved) which is a regular telltale sign that we're seeing him in disguise.

What are you talking about? The battle against Gazeff and the parade were the ending of season 3.

I figured it was one or the other, but I wasn't sure which was which. I was guessing Momon since Narberal wasn't tailing behind him, but it's hard to tell. Pandora's good at what he does.
Innate distrust against an undead lich that single-handedly wiped out thousands of their soldiers, accompanied by a powerful demon who was ready to execute a child in the street? A good scheme to encourage placidity among the masses for those who know Momon's allegiances, but for those not in the know it wouldn't exactly encourage trust.
There aren't many pieces of media where necromancers, undead, and demons aren't considered inherently evil, and this one certainly isn't much different.
Albedo would never dare to glare at Ainz, no matter the disguise he's in, so that was a clear sign.

And now we wait for season 4 in this (manga) format.
Reading albedo's reactions is one way to tell who the real Ainz is but I think the fact that pandora talks waaaaay more than when ainz is momon is an easier sign, I really want to see how the goblin village is doing after the battle but knowing how this series goes itll be a bit

I've always thought it made sense to use Pandora here, because this moment requires a lot of acting and deception. No room for any error. I think he's playing up Momon on purpose, so that everyone listens to what he is saying, and understand who all the players are in the scene without the context people who know momon have. People might not know his face, but they've already show stuff about his name as an orich. adventurer spreading around. Getting a little headcanon here, but momon has a very distinct look for an adventurer, all of the higher level ones are pretty unique indiviudals. I wouldn't be surprised if people have heard stories about what he looked like.
Heck, if anyone wants to question Momon about why he'd give in so quickly, he can even blame it on buying time, and trying to protect normal people as long as possible, before a rebellion can be brought together.

The entire non-Nazarick aligned population of the planet would launch a mass attack on E-Rantel to destroy him, resulting in a true world war.
Because if there are players, they have a chance to be as strong or stronger than the forces of Nazarick.why not they just kill everyone and lure out whatever players there are. What's the point of all this BS.
This chapter really highlights the best of overlord, you feel like the supporting cast could carry their own stories solo, so their life and death have a lot more weight within the narrative.

Stereotypes. Undeads are the enemy of human that kind of thing. We know what kind of person/undead Ainz-sama is, but those peasants and the world where he was transported into, they don't. So, it's a natural reaction.
