@StarGasm : Can't relate. Not at all. I want to be able to watch things on my own terms at any time, even if the Internet goes down.
Funny thing is that back when Netflix was a new thing... back when they didn't have a membership fee or whatever but only charged for the individual content.... I did watch a few things back on my 360. I'd bought them. They were essentially mine... but.... my Xbox Live account got banned, and I instantly lost access to everything I'd personally paid for that was connected to it.
Lesson learnt... in theory anyway. I haven't touched Nutflex since then. Disgusting thing.

I should probably look into getting hacked EXE files for all the games I own on Steam in case they ever decide to take issue with my presence... =/

This current fad of switching out products for a service that can be redacted at any time for any or no reason is completely unacceptable.

Can't relate. Not at all. I never used money on games, or any other form of media.

If I wanna play a game, I just download it via other means.

Though that sounds very saddening for the consumer, indeed.
