Yet he is always holding himself back, which I'm sure she also enjoys since it's painful to hold yourself back day after day, week after week when your loved one is right in front of you. It's a game for her, and Climb is her beloved toy. In this case she's hoping he will get killed, and then when she's nursing him back to health, he will fall for her all the more.

I wouldn't say it's her motive behind the defense or the rescue mission. It's just her motive for sending Climb specifically. Her strategy didn't seem so bad, I'd say, taking the circumstances into account. The kingdom is a stupid place anyway, with the deep division between the royals and the nobles, making the overall power level of the whole country drop by dozens of percents. So, she just had to deal with the realities.

The princess has an intelligence on par with Demi and Albedo, which makes her one of the smartest people in the world. She's also twisted like a devil. Demi approached her previously and made a deal with her. She becomes an ally of Nazarick, working for them and even making them take notice of her, despite being a human.
Long after this arc, Albedo will meet with her and gift her a box. Nobody knows what the box does, but many of the readers believe that it contains an item that will allow her to change into a monsters, effectively allowing her to join Nazarick fully.

I never knew the author has an issue with the fan translation(s). Most of them do but ending Overlord LN early/prematurely because of that is a very very sad news to me. It is a neverending point of discussion/debate but for my case, it is impossible to get a legit copy of the LN so I can only rely on the fan translations. It feels unfair but can't totally argue with author's exercising his right to do anything with his own creations. Just sucks being born in this country I guess.

Also fyi, sociopathy is not a true clinical term that officially recognized by APA or other mental health studies professionals or even in DSM...
I am a psychology student, and it kinda irks me when i saw people using "sociopath" term without knowing its meaning...

That is just a drama orchestrated by author(and/or his staffs) caused by burnout and they just decided to put the blame on someone else while making it looks like a legit excuses to end it prematurely so they can save their own faces...
How do i arrived at such conclusion?? E.g. One piece, bleach, naruto for comparison, especially One Piece that still holding up despite its been pirated by many fansubbing groups... And yes, fans translations are pretty much a piracy, but then again, who am i to talk? While i'm also one of them that enjoying those pirated stuffs... Lol... Just IMO, no offense, no hard feelings...

the double chapter is because we were late on the august chapter (for reasons that we already talked about in the august chapter statement), and we worked very hard to not allow it to affect the release date of this chapter.

so in short, last chapter was late, this chapter was released in time.
