I think this SCP is a bit confusing because it doesn't work in consistent steps, made worse by the fact that plays around with metrics as well (100 tons, 10000 liters). Maybe things would be a bit clearer if you're familiar with the CN source that it's referencing, but the pattern is still pretty obvious.

It materialized 1, 10, 100, 1000 and then 10000 of something. For some reason after this it starts to go up in increments of 10000 instead, making the next steps 100 million followed by 1 trillion. Assuming it stays at 10000 for at least one more step, that'd put the next one at materializing 10 quadrillion of something.

That's already such a big number that the only way it won't destroy the world is if it materializes that many single atoms. Frankly even the earlier pages could have done so if they materialized even slightly larger objects.

Isnt the "class" supposed to be containment difficulty? isnt this one's containment just put it in a box that no one will open?

From comments on early chapters, it seems that different regional branches of SCP don't necessarily use the SCP categories the same way the main US branch does.

But yes, if this were on the main wiki, it would probably be classed as Safe. As long as no one interacts with it, nothing should happen, so a secure enough box and highly restricted access should suffice.
