I like rly enjoy this series but I legit have no idea what's going on anymore / can't keep up with all the characters

This manga has been around for almost 13 years. Nothing in those 13 years has been good enought to make it end, for the last 3-4 years i've seen more flashbacks stories and backstories of almost every character here that don't matter. There is no reason to keep reading this. Literally nothing happen and when it does, it goes back to a random ass flashback.

Never really cared for this series but it feels like the author got tired of it. Characters that played an important role get nonchalantly disposed off and there's flashback upon flashbacks about things that would have more weight if they were told earlier, all the while vaguely gesturing about world modifying spells and tired VS GOD trope.
