These chapters have been heavier than I expected… I haven’t read much manga that covers this niche, and with surprising realism too— especially with the MC recalling bittersweet memories and the conflicting emotional turmoil that follows, ouch… I feel for the MC.

I’m also interested in how the manga will handle generational trauma, since it seems like the story’s going down that path. Also kinda nervous for the MC as I’m not sure if meeting his dad’s family will be a good idea, but I’m interested to see how it all goes down.

This series is a hidden gem, thank you for translating this!

The generational trauma aspect cuts deep.

If his dad wasn't completely lucid and was seeing his own father in his son in that brief moment in the hospital, and it comes to the point where he forgives his dad while he's still seeing his own father in his son it's going to be real heavy.

Thank you for reading! You captured exactly why I decided to work on this story, the way it depicts parental conflict, inner turmoil and trauma feels so real and raw, it's not something you see everyday.

I will not be giving away anything of course, but the themes you mentioned will be indeed be touched upon over the rest of the story, while of course keeping at its core Takashi's relationship with his father.

Also, chapters will be coming in even more frequently from now on since I'm almost done typesetting the whole thing, so you won't have to wait much to find out ahah.
