To remove the poison it has to be dragged into the sunlight while alive, so you can't kill it while it's buried. As for the other method, I imagine you could set up like a snare trap, if you don't have a long enough rope, and just catapult the mushroom out of the dirt by setting it off, but I wonder if it can still scream a second time if you don't finish it quickly....

If exposure to the sun removes all the toxins/poison from the body, then in theory it shouldn't matter if you kill it above or below ground according to the book's explanation.

I looked it up and it seems that some other group is translating the series. However, they use their own site and have a paywall for the newest chapters. I'm not going to name the bastards, but a quick Google should make it clear who it is.

They do make chapters free after a month, so I guess I'll remember to look them up every month or so. They probably won't upload the free stuff to Mangadex since they don't make it clear when chapters become free.
