Well I must say stuff like this is rather common but so far 12 chapters in it isn't bad so i'll keep an eye on it.

It's "okay". The premise is interesting but a big issue (as of chapter 21) is that the pacing is really, really bad. Everything is fast-paced/rushed and there isn't really time for things to be fleshed out. It's just one thing after the other that it feels like the author has a checklist he's rapidfiring meeting
