Apology Notice
Regarding the next (update) chapter of Pan wo Nameruna; I sincerely apologize, but we have postponed it to September 4. I failed to adjust my schedule ahead of my other (irregular) work such as the production of a tankobon compilation, which threw off my pace and also took a toll on my health. Also, regarding why the pace of the serialization has been unstable;
Various unavoidable issues surfaced in the production environment for this manga, and using my own (poor) health as a trigger, I suspended the serialization for about a year and half up until last year. I resumed at a monthly pace from the end of 2025, but I'm still not back to my full stride. Though it may be a vague way of putting it that it could invite misunderstanding;
I've been hit by a severe slump, and the progress of this serialization has been significantly delayed. While fitting in manuscript work for other manga to help get myself back on track, the pace for this serialization will still be unstable, but I will do my best to update at a monthly pace as a baseline, so please bear with me. In the meantime, various other works may be announced in parallel.
If you can, please show your support for those as well. I have been discussing these matters with my current editor on a year-by-year basis, and the deeper details have already been heard by the higher-ups at the editorial department. There are various things about this that I cannot go into detail about.
Please, wait a little longer.
Seriously, is that something that could happen? That's bizarre, Now I'm afraid of spring mattresses, I never knew this could happen, mattresses in my country are primarily made of foam, what a dangerous thing.Não sou tão mesquinho a ponto de incluir até os créditos, posfácios e tudo mais, mas é só isso que teremos em agosto.
Ok, voltando a mim.
Getting straight to the point of the news and leaving aside other things, it's already a victory that the manga has resumed publication; for far less, there have been manga that went on hiatus and never returned. Years go by, and if the author is lucky enough to return to the market, it's usually with a new publication, as the old one has become outdated and the audience has moved on. I say this from personal experience; one of the first manga I read has been on hiatus since 2012. The author returned to the market around 2018, and the old publication no longer made commercial sense.The downside was that when I read the new manga, I didn't like it; it just didn't match my tastes. But I kept wishing the author success, which she more or less achieved, the new manga was adapted into an anime, but by GoHands, so the visual quality is terrible.Não sou tão mesquinho a ponto de incluir até os créditos, posfácios e tudo mais, mas é só isso que teremos em agosto. If you ask me our beloved Ryuuichi (the author) has been in some state of depression. He's really trying his best to keep holding on by destressing himself with his hobbies, e.g. buying Gundam kits, watching movies, playing an insanely unhealthy amount of Blue Archive... but at the same time I'm quite aware that this serialization, alongside the oneshots and other projects he's been working on are really just things he has to do to make ends meet.Getting straight to the point of the news and leaving aside other things, it's already a victory that the manga has resumed publication; for far less, there have been manga that went on hiatus and never returned. To be honest with you, hearing "a Japanese person and Blue Archive" in the same sentence, the only thing that comes to mind is that this crazy person is spending all their money on digital waifu gacha. In order to help a citizen, first they must at least want to help themselves.If you ask me our beloved Ryuuichi (the author) has been in some state of depression. I wish there was a way to really directly financially support the guy. Buying his volumes can only go so far...
