I think the ''chan san'' is supposed to represent stutter, since you don't use both together. I think she first used it in chapter 4 as a real stutter , and it eventually became her vocal tic by chapter 7.

other than one large grocery chain or mall with multiple floors, a bread festival does seem like it'd be something within a smaller thing like an overall fireworks thing to buy food but as long as there's a place to sit. wonder how much free samples you'd be able to get before committing to buying a full croquette/filled buns and such

but dang if it's a city wide thing it sounds like it'd be exhausting working there let alone a random normal citizen just trying to go about their day
