I think after 270+ chapters, kind of says something about people who supposedly hate the guy or think he's a clown but keep coming back every chapter to harp or meme on the same things like a broken record.

I hope not! It would be rather unfortunate if a majority of the people shitting on him were somehow even worse, considering Yota has absolutely no clue what the word 'consent' means, among other things.

If you're referring to me with that last part, though, this is the first time I've commented on this series in years, and am mostly doing so because this chapter was especially egregious, so I'm pretty nonplussed.

I just noticed that the empress' body turns into a male creature when she transforms ... weird. At least she's stopping Yota from getting hard a power up from seeing titties. She DID get a couple of good hits in but if she REALLY wants to 'win' she'll punch him IN THE DICK. Most of the commenters would be cheering. She could also just keep, I don't know, hitting him until he's paste but gotta keep trying to kill Lumi first ... peak valley.

That it's fun to watch the train-wreck of the story? I kept seeing similar comments to your in Rent-a-Girlfriend story, "why so you people keep coming here", and the answer is always the same - because it's entertaining to make fun of shitty writing.

Especially when it also has something to keep you interested, like "how will it end? What is the role of Mishina?" or Leigh-Mary here, or in RaG the stuff like NTR boners in swimming pool or Mami's plotting and so on.

If you like the story, it's your right, but it doesn't mean there is anything wrong when others deservedly make fun of it.

I like overpowered isekai series when they actually have a story, the problem with them is most of them the story is "I am super strong and get all the bitches", it's always the same plot with the same game like power system. You can have the main character be OP and get all the bitches whilst still having a compelling story to attach it to.

You can have the main character be OP and get all the bitches whilst still having a compelling story to attach it to.

Most... no, all of them (especially the mainstream ones) really have no plot beyond "I'm effortlessly powerful!". None of them have consequences for their powers, none of them have their close friends/family are really threatened or die permanently (or worse, they revive cough Slime Isekai) after they become OP.

I'm grateful that Konosuba and No Longer Allowed in Another World exists... heck, I'm glad Parallel Paradise exists too.

On a related note, I really don't understand the people complaining about the copious amounts of sex until now. The first time they did it and the worldbuilding should've set the tone for the rest of the series.

And I wager ALL of these guys would do the girls (except if they're gay) if they were isekaid to this world. Heck, they'd probably give up fighting, have sex with as many women as possible to give their long lives back, and live out the rest of his days with the girls like Youta was considering early on in the series. Tbh, it's a logical and appealing option for most people.
