From what I can remember it's not from just Youta's testimony, but also Nishina who testifies to the fact Kanejo murdered Youta's mother in the world like ours. Although not stated, it's strongly hinted that Kanejo also raped Nishina. All because Youta was better at kendo. This all happened not in the future world where you could argue no laws exist but modern Japan where the murder rate is 0.7 per 100k he is a special kind of evil.

Lynn is trying to make you think they're equal and is setting up for a "we're not so different" speech or to justify what he has planned, do not fall for it.

You know, an open-world game but you have limited lives sounds kinda cool. Some players probably have attempted limited or one-life runs in specific video games though.

Calling him just as bad as Kanejou is a bit much. He's not that bad enough to:

• Curse girls to die at 18, probably so he doesn't have to see any old women
• Murder someone's mother because he lost a kendo match
• Struggle-snuggle Nishina, probably. Very heavily implied though.
• Might have cursed the other men to turn into Karu.

Youta's sadistic tendencies when it comes to sex is starting to ramp up though. IIRC, like with the girls, he's also not thinking clear when he's horny.

One of the things why I'm hooked is the mystery how the girls are born.
Since future (or ancient at this point) technology exists, probably some sort of cloning involved and/or magic.
IIRC they come out from the Empress' castle or something? Wish they'll explore that further.
