So I could see another stupid twist happening where memories are fake, or time travel negates MC's memories, or this jealous god guy is actually the good guy and the mc is the one who made the world this way. Or even this is a Jacob's ladder situation. He's in the "future" because he keeps getting wrecked

And you're getting all of this from him being crass during sex

Yeah, Lynn actually does a lot changes for the tankobon releases. Sometimes he includes several new pages (not just H-scenes) or straight up redraws stuff. Gotta give him props here for not just releasing half assed stuff.

The one problem I have is that sometimes it reveals how little is planned ahead of time. Like when it was being pushed that Nishina was the Jealous God she looks in on one of the orgies with an ominous look of said jealousy. This scene was later cut from the Tankobon release probably around the time that Kanejo was officially planned because if you go waaaay back when he first brought up the person he lost to in the Kendo matches back in the beach arc it was simply Youta having a skill issue not y'know his opponent's heel tactics.
