Obligatory comment about people continuing to inexplicably read apparently what they think is the crappiest manga in existence and making sure everyone else knows both of those facts so we can backslap and applaud each other or something. Irony abounds as to such 'keen-eyed' readers continuing to read slop like they're addicted.
Obligatory response indicating both the sunk cost effect, as well as the fact that people just want to see where this absurd plot goes despite the shitty character writing.
The scenario is still somewhat interesting even though Youta sucks and most characters constantly do the dumbest things possible. Finding out how the world became the way it is is still a compelling aspect. We have this tease that despite the apparent fantasy setting they're going to take a spaceship to the moon.
There are reasons to read this, it's just that the author seems content to ignore them in favor of dumb shit chapter after chapter. So venting about it makes the slog more bearable. And regardless, it takes a couple of minutes to read a chapter; it's not a huge commitment.
And lastly Leigh-Mary is the one likeable character in this, so she kinda keeps everything afloat.
