I find reading these bombastic "characters are retarded" or "I'm done with this series" after hundreds of chapters almost as amusing as the series itself. It somehow never gets old, and assuredly every single chapter has it. It's as comfortably consistent as the characters in the series being really wacko. Though at the same time the sheer idiocy (or ego?) baffles me.

Maybe because it was already funny when the manga was just dozens of chapters. Years and hundreds of chapters later, that part just gets better and better.

This! And you know every one of them writing this will be back to read the next chapter anyway. And dropping the manga at this stage is just something I can't imagine anyone doing. Its been 9 years and we're at the final stretch.
