At least it doesn't have TL commentary in the margins, google translate quality MTL, and memejokes in the TL.

Image quality: -4/10 - start from scratch with good quality raws; don't blow up the image size more than the original raws. Why are the page sizes inconsistent? Page 8 is even smaller than the original. Page 9 has a black border on the right which shouldn't be there. Did you just directly screencap from the Spanish scans for this? Damn, the arrow button for whatever site you were reading from is even clearly visible on page 17...
Cleaning & Redrawing: 3/10 - Page 11 is not supposed to have a speech bubble there. No effort is made to properly clean up and redraw pages 16 & 17 either.
Translation: 5/10 - for the most part, it is surprisingly close to the original, but unfortunately a few parts have been left out, such as in page 17. A few other minor issues would be inconsistency with previous chapters where the Kall are now "Karu" in this translation instead; don't capitalize words like "4 Down" when they're neither proper nouns nor are they at the beginning of the sentence; inverted marks (¿ and ¡) are not used in the English language.
Typesetting: 3/10 - font choice can be improved. Font sizes need to be kept consistent. Even the fonts are somehow widely inconsistent.

Looking at the official English page, it looks like each volume will be released ~two months apart.
If Volume 4 is released in January 2021, then Volume 10 will be 12 months later, January 2022.

Maybe start with something that's been dropped? Or that you can do better work than the people who are already doing it?
Better than MTL, but the clean, typest, and base TL need some help.
Find something that hasn't been updated in forever, and work it hard, and get your skills really rolling... but please don't violate the goddamn site rules by just deciding to take something that other people are already working.

Hey, I am glad someone is picking this up, by the time the current TL translate this to the current chapter, the official english release would be out. I prefer the Japanese.

@HajimeNagumo no-one follows sniping rules because they're stupid. If you have extremely late releases on a series that you're doing then you can expect someone else to start doing speed releases either to kick you into gear or to actually give people a continuation to the story that they want to read, even if the quality drops as a result.

Everyone needs to stop getting in a tizzy over a hobby and practice that's literally illegal. A noble thief is still a thief, and there's no point trying to act dignified or demand respect as a result of it.

Also for the people worrying the official one might stop due to the content: It's been licensed by Seven seas' label Ghost ship. It's a label for ecchi series like this. Yuuna's hot spring and to love ru are also published by them.

I as a native spanish speaker (and you say don't know much about this language) already tell you that the spanish translation of "Mundo Isekai Scan" is a bit rough and exact at the same time (quite literal regarding japanese) for that reason some people around here say it is "a solid translation", although the spanish version needs proofreading. So you will have to be careful with the 'tildes' because if the spanish version fails, your translation could fail as well.

On the other hand, did you try talking to Hyakuro Translations first? So you'd better approach them and it turns out better, imo.

I did contact Hyakuro Translations after my chapter was already submitted .

I know that the Spanish translation is not as good as the if I was translating it from the original source. I read the chapters in Spanish and they seemed ok to me even though it could be a bit better.

I did the best from the Spanish to the English translation .

I didn’t even know about the sniping unspoken rule . I just wanted to help out the community & I saw that HT was taking a long time uploading the latest chapters so I decided to take it upon myself to do the work ok my own as it’s easier for me at least at the moment .

I am unsure if I will or even can work with HT as they probably work with the original source compared to my Spanish Source.

This is my first translation and I am well aware that there is many many mistakes in many aspects .

I will be doing my best in my next possible upload to make my translations better in every aspect possible as my first attempt was probably not that good for some of you.
