Hmmm, seems pretty average, but it has potential?
Basically: Weak-willed man who works for a black company goes out on a date with a pretty co-worker, but ends up coming across a man-eating moster called a Raksha in an alley. Though the woman he's with gets stabbed trying to protect him, the MC dies anyway and is sent to the Underworld. In exchange for a second chance at life and find out what happened to the woman he was with, his body is changed and he becomes a reaper of lost souls called a Guardian (Herald?). He is only able to stay alive for as long as he sends lost souls and Raksha to the underworld.
The occasional overexagerrated expressions for humor are a bit off-putting, but the characters are believable and have at least some depth albeit being fairly standard. Even the ghosts he hunts are more than just "the embodiment of evil" that have to be killed brutally and nothing else. I'm always a little hesitant with stories that have a game-like system with levels (it even has a helpful AI named "Siki"...one letter off from the famous home AI), but there is some thought put into the setting. And there seems to be at least a hint of a mystery...Here's hoping for the best?

Edit: bonus points for the first potential teammate/ally the MC comes across after gaining his powers to be a male, rather than the the standard agressive/airhead/damsel in distress female character.
