Laila and Zieg are just kind people. That makes them stand out even more considering just about everyone else in the city except for the protagonist's party and his master are pretty much scumbags.

The extent of corruption of the adventurer's guild in their city continues to surprise me. Since we don't have the typical corrupt church or corrupt royal castle to make things difficult, the antagonistic group is the local guild branch which isn't so common.

Raust was going to be the evasion tank but he couldn't draw the initial aggro, so it fell to Narsena to deal with it as the evasion off-tank like I expected. Then he peels the boss off of Narsena with a well-placed taunt. Laila healed after Raust took damage, and Armia cast her spell according to plan. Pretty good teamwork so far, but I wonder what happened to Zieg?

If only the Japanese population actually held the same attitude as Laila about war crimes. Indeed the past doesn’t disappear but some people feel entitled that their victims just move on.
