She just realized what every D&D 5e Cleric player learns: You don't have to heal the party if you kill all enemies fast enough.

Works that way in FF14 most of the time too. The healer's job is mostly just to keep attacking the enemy like everyone else, cure status effects, and pick people up off the ground for standing in harm's way. Almost all damage is either so trivial it can be walked off, or pretty much instant death.
She may not have Heal, but as long as she's got her Esuna equivalent and maybe a Revive she's got the job down well enough.
