And technically it should be something like "I was... you know" but that sounds awkward as English can't do real Tsudnere. She says

The "わよ" she adds after is real tsundere vibe of defeat as she annoyed she has to tell you the truth, as she transitions from tsun to dere to tell you yes she actually cared a lot.
