I think authors just need to do a better job at making male characters not all creeps honestly.

Uncle Joe and Narita-kun from The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy at All are supportive male characters done well in a yuri so it can happen easily/there's no real excuse not to be able to make it work.

Though ig yuruyuri has no male characters and there doesnt feel like theres anything missing so...idk, ig either way works.

Either put in none or at least do better at making characters.
