I both love and hate the fact that they don’t know the MC’s the one their taking shelter under.
It’s getting annoying how he’s treated as a weakling when he’s the strongest(?) character we’ve seen so far but it’s nice that a MC’s able to stay low key for once.

@Sylphe you know how these kind of story likes to do things right? they want it so every time, like every goddamn time MC show a bit of his true power it would make the jaw of the enemy drop so much it pierced the earth. XD

i know it's a bit too much and seems like hating these kind of settings, but i really love how over the top some of the reaction from the enemy gets. i can be so ridiculous it's hilarious.

The MC is really a jerk to his wife... The girl has from the beginning be very clear she would not betray him, despite so numerous attempt from her family to have her renounce the marriage. And yet, the MC still treats her like that... Is it that hard to just say a few nice words before leaving, instead of treating her like crap non-stop ?

@daedalron he's not a jerk she isn't doing it for him. she's respecting her father wishes. she was the one who made it clear in the beginning that they're husband and wife in name only.

As long as his younger sister in law knows the truth, my blood pressure will remain steady. I know she’ll eventually spill the beans to the Su family so I take solace in that.

@abyssalmonkey I suggest you reread the first few chapters... The only reason the little sister and the brother are treating him better is because they saw his abilities when he used them in front of them. Before that, they were treating him worse than his wife is treating him, going so far as to attack him.
Unlike them, the wife never saw his abilities, but is still treating him decently, defending his status against the opinions of every single elder of the clan.

I'm not saying he should act as a lover to her, all I'm saying is she deserves way more respect than he's giving her.

I know this is not true but this my problem with the majority of wuxia/xanxia's MCs.
