never had the full water faucet bursting like that…
Tis usually the faucet leaking or something.
You are immensely lucky. It's absolute, utter chaos when something like this happens. It might sound obvious, but it's super important for everybody to check now and then where and how you can close the water flow to every appliance with water. Knowing where the knobs are might sound a bit "Well, duh?", but the problem is that goddamn things harden like a motherfucker, so it's important to actually test them. At the very least, the water main, each season or so. And god forbid if the knob no longer closes the flow...
The place I was renting, with its lack of maintenance, ended up with a pipe bursting, and then we also found out the water main no longer closed from about two months from the last time we checked it. It was utter pandemonium, nevermind the damage from hours of flooding... q^q

Lol, that exact thing happened to me while I was staying in an hotel. The faucet burst, and water quickly filled the bathroom, then the room. Luckily, the hotel had single-loaded corridors so the water just flowed through the room's main door to the terrace below instead of flooding the whole floor.

Oof I hope you got compensated at least a hotel of all places would probably have a company on standby/maintenance worker than your own home being inconvenienced but hopefully no one’s too injured with hotel /business buildings mishaps (that said in MCs case I imagine he’d rather deal with a water pipe issue versus another assassination attempt lol)

lol “if he served in the military” I know it’s required in Korea but I’d also expect this world to have most of the men learn some basic strengthening skills too even if they don’t join the knights/be a soldier

I’m not huge into alcohol but I feel like beer would make the sauce burn more which some ppl enjoy but I’d enjoy a kick with flavor as opposed to over the top burning that vinegar based sauces and “challenge” dishes tend to be like

I’ve seen the “one bite” thing on Koreans Englishman’s channel tho small mouth/choking hazard aside idk if it’d rly help if you swallow it down versus chewing lol

Mandatory army training is a very, very historically new thing in concept. Back in the day the closest thing was conscripting people if you ever needed soldiers- And they basically came out as meat to the grinder.

Now I really have to wonder if they really cook with a shovel in the South Korean Military Kitchen.

His first mistake was having optimism first thing in the morning, his second was having hubris about the wolf heart inciting divine retribution from the wolf gods.
