This is so stupid.
What madness is this!?
- The bathroom faucet breaks - after the tap. He could just close the tap to solve the problem.
- He apparently can't figure out a simple the sink shutoff valve on his own and needs to call a friend.
- After shutting off the water to just the bathroom sink, it somehow means he can't use water in the kitchen?
The author needs to strangle the artist.
You're missing the point. The issue is that the text and visuals do not agree:I feel he was able to turn off the faucet. If you noticed in the next panel the bathroom only has a couple of puddles and isn't actually flooded but I don't think he has the knowledge or possibly the tools to fix the faucet. That is probably why he called in his friend.
The first thing every single plumber will tell you to do after a break like whats shown happens is to shut off the main water to the building. The mc has displayed 0 aptitude at repairs and would likely immediately follow that advice. Therefore the restaurant would have no water. You're missing the point. The issue is that the text and visuals do not agree:
- What the author wanted: A pipe burst requiring the water to be shut off to the entire building to prevent flooding until a plumber can repair the pipe tomorrow. Therefore, He can't work today.
- What the artist drew: The faucet came apart after the tap. The tap would have still been functional to close as normal and the faulty faucet could be disconnected in the sink cabinet to prevent further mishaps. This would not prevent him form working today. He would still be able to wash his hands in the bathtub and use water in the kitchen. He also need not wait for a plumber - he could get a new faucet at the hardware store and get his friend to help him install it.
