Seems like Changkong has a severe inferiority complex with MC considering all the unwarranted abuse. What a scummy clan. Basing value on someone solely based on the rank of a martial spirit granted by the heavens rather than personality and other abilities. Even if someone has a lot of potential, it's still worthless if they sit on their laurels bragging how great they are without striving to reach and make use of their potential. Bet those instigators are Changkong's cronies. Surprised at how everyone is so busy condemning MC for having a low class spirit that they didn't notice he's happy about it or note his reaction. Just as well MC hid having the battle spirit. Changkong or someone afraid/jealous likely would've murdered him if found out and this way can find out who truly likes him for himself rather than his position. That and it's probably going to be a while before learns how to command and use the battle spirit along with getting strong enough just to bring it out.
