Seriously, at the point Lin Xixao or whatever starts going, "Impressive, but you're just trash still!" Qin Nan's basically already surpassed him greatly. He's got an 8th-grade spirit. He's stronger than like 99% of the new disciples. He has powerful and respected people with and behind him.

How is he still trash when he's better than top geniuses? Top geniuses calling him trash, even though they're scared of his results or angry that he's showing them up - that makes them trash. Everyone below top geniuses calling him trash that he's stronger than in every way - that makes them worse than trash.

@Kayriel I think it's because they have a different set of standards for those who let themselves become underlings and those who try to become leaders. It's like how you can complain about some political candidate or sports team member despite the fact that you yourself are way below them in terms of competency in that field. It's because they dare to proclaim themselves as someone worthy to compete with the other geniuses.
