I dont know how to feel about a MC that is strong that has just been bullied to believe that he is weak and never actually does anything against anyone to realize that he is strong. I just hope this is over before I get to bored with this shitty concept that keeps popping up.

MC got lucky encounter by being trained by a hidden master.
Then, when he stepped into murim for real the first time, he got unlucky encounter by encountering a master way above his level at the time imprinted an undesirable impression about murim in him.
And him meeting his wife shortly after also put his plan on stepping back into murim further into the backburner.
In summary, MC got a complicated backstory and I like it.
