When looking at forums, it seems today most people would try to save the mother, even most mothers would save themselves because it's very impractical to raise a kid by yourself and yes you can have more kids.

However, the situation flips when we talk about a child that is already born, the split looks to be about 50/50, with most mothers saying that they would want the child saved, even at risk to their life.
