@Angie7 Remember that one guy early on who awoke from a centuries-long meditation (vines grown around him and stuff), only to then vaporize or such because he'd attained the enlightenment he'd sought? His granddaughter (that blonde blue-eyed maiden) now heads the so-called "Demon Church" (which by the way is an exonym, they call themselves the "Church of Enlightenment" or such - you can sorta see here why they use the term "church" rather than "clan", a closer translation could probably be "cult", albeit without the negative connotation) It seems to me that a lot of terms and concepts here that confuse/overwhelm outsiders are probably very common concepts in Korean mythology/folklore and tend to be glossed over for that reason.

Also, the masked troop will likely not try to harm Ga-Jang (if they've been instructed on his identity, that is), seeing as how the scheming bunch (the brat, his dad and the old twins) have their eyes on Ga-Jang and his kids for their own ends, and the "Administrator" seems to have been following the situation quite closely. But then again they may be ignorant and things might play out exactly how you described

PS: Can't blame you for not being able to remember every name, clan and faction in here - those alone are hard to keep track of, let alone the politics between each of them...

@ScarletLouse Thanks for the detailed explanation! I still knew who the blonde blue-eyed maiden was, and that she was attached to a group, but already forgot it was called the Demon Church. There are so many clans and groups to keep up with ...

Not sure about the scheming dad not wanting to harm Ga-Jang 'though. Yes, his bratty son wants him to serve them, and so his father is also interested in him and his children (especially with the twin martial artists acting so stubborn about the sons). But I have the distinct impression peerless dad and scheming dad may have fought in the past (if scheming dad is indeed this first Murim guy Ga-Jang fought and got defeated by), and we still don't know how scheming dad actually thought about their battle. For what it's worth, Noh Ga-Jang could've also damaged him quite badly. Which would mean scheming dad might eventually see him as a serious threat to whatever he's actually scheming in the background of the Murim world.

@Petnavis You're very much correct there, very few webtoons & mangas can overcome multiple storyline pacing issues. IMO it's cause they're all newbies and not veterans in the industry, there's generally no Editors to guide them, like in Japanese mangas.
That is because traditional manga/manhwa style industries are dead in Korea and other Asia countries that does publishing, apart from Japan.
Not every series can be like Gosu, where it's created by actual veterans, who knows how to do good pacing(specially panel placements & dialogue pacing).
