@Isaac242 - Specifically it is a ritualistic bowl that a martial artist uses to retire from the world of Murim and put the sins of their past life behind them. Effectively washing their hands of everything.

Why would the "Nr 1" decide to send the "Heads of the affected (by the war) branches to SICHUAN"?
Is that destination positive or useful in a certain way? :/
About Sichuan, I only know that Sichuan's cuisine is tasty and spicy 😋.

Belly fat doesn't automatically mean someone is unfit - it could actually act as a reliable reserve of energy during long and uncertain military expeditions, or times of drought that were much more prevalent in earlier times. And there's nothing to suggest they aren't rugged and hardy underneath all that flab. It's actually the 'six-packers' of the modern era of gyms and 'lean' diets, who are physiological oddities from an evolutionary/historical standpoint - even lean and athletic youth typically had a flat belly with a faint "groove" running down their midriff at most

@ScarletLouse bruh this is martial arts. They need to perfect their muscles so that they can fight properly. Having belly fat won't help them survive against a metal demon god
