the type 89 is just such an ugly tank with that massive unangled front glacis & weird asymmetrical tiny little turret. i feel bad for any japanese tank crew after 1940 who had to use one of these things

Really happy some group picked this up as a project, seemed pretty interesting.
Although, realistically, this kid's chances of even living through the war let alone making it back to the future or living out the rest of his days peacefully would've been infinitesimal at best.

...Although, if he did, having a modern post-war education in art and being an aspiring artist could make him one of the pioneers of manga in Japan. Sorta getting some "Zipang" and "Final Countdown" vibes.

@dankdevice Its not the worst outdated tank to be forced to crew. The ones I feel really bad for are the unlucky bastards who had to crew a L3/35 tankette from 1939 to 1944.
