Yeah, I think is a manequine, possibly another act of harassment, someone should really hate her a lot to break her limbs like that, and there is no way it wouldn't make a lot of noise.
Is possible the real one got kidnapped or returned home and run away, hid herself out of ear, cut contacts not knowing who was it, it seems to have happened recently after all.

Imo i think this was a plot convenience, while not shown she is a student in the area and theres was no sign that they kept it closed off from seeing (also theres windows around the Room) so its most likely implied she seen the "crime" scene even If not shown

Yeah, their relationship is definitely too one-sided. She solves all cases instantly and he's only there to sometimes play drawn charades. If she had his badge he might as well not even exist at all in this story.
