Neither amoral nor illegal. This shunning is a very recent developement. No one gave a fuck about such relationships a couple of years ago. In fact relationships with an age gap of 5 years (older male) have the lowest recorded divorce rates. There are also huge double standards involved. 18 year old man 40 year old cougar is considered hot. The other way is somehow pedophillia.

There's quite a difference between a y.o 6 and 30 y.o age gap vs 26 y.o and 50 y.o, even though both couple would be 24 years apart. The depicted age gap of... 16? (how old is this girl anyway?) and 40 is, at best, questionable in today's society.
