For those who want to know what happened to Aria, I can say what happened in the web novel version. I don't know if they changed it in the LN version but in the web novel,

He escapes from the mansion and in Arc 4 or something, Aria dies in a duel with MC. Funny thing is, the author wrote an if story of what would have happened if she didn't die in the duel. And in the If story, Aria in fact couldn't kill MC. And there is also an if story where Aria is just a simple maid, in this version, they fall in love with each other and become a couple.

She pretended to befriend his mother for the express purpose of being here to murder both MC and his mom.
It's likely she has done this to other fallen nobles as well.
I had another point to fill out this list better but forgot it.
I mean seriously to forgive someone who betrayed your only loving parent's trust and tried to not only kill them but you too is beyond stupid. I suppose I'd be fine if he didn't finish the job and just ran away with his mom but seriously don't you dare forgive her MC. while trying to track down the webnovel version, I did stumble across the raw chapters 9 and 10 from the manga version. I don't know when the duel is supposed to happen, but he escapes from the mansion without fighting.

@Nehona : at the moment he is the ONLY heir, so he is kept alive so they can preserve the royal bloodline if anything happens. That is why the birth of another heir signals the assassination order.

As to the job prejudice (which you are delibritly exaggerating), it does make sense especially when you consider that a society with magic is not likely to develop the scientific method. They are evaluating the jobs on criteria relevant to them, including what they develop naturally, and his job sucks at that criteria. It is only the goddesses assistance that is giving him the missing part needed to reach his potential.

Alphapolis changes their webnovel versions once the light novel comes out and makes them paid chapters. This is the reason I don't know what happened in LN.

@icekatze an assassin is not a villain, an assassin is not different to a knife, a knife have no will it is just a tool, all true assassins and health inspectors are like that
